IHR Corporate Background and Experience

For over 50 years we have served clients in North Carolina with a focus on the greater research triangle area. A keystone of that service is organizing excellent teams with appropriate experience, capacity, and dedication to the healthcare, civic, and higher education sectors. These projects have provided a broad variety of experience, extensive collaboration, and a good understanding of sensitive construction environments.

Coordination

We like to bring the full complement of team members to all client design meetings. We find many discussion points often affect multiple disciplines, so it’s good for everyone to hear firsthand.

Knowledge

We are extremely knowledgeable about the code, and we aim to be our clients’ first choice when they are facing a complicated project or need help appeasing an inspector.

Visualization

We utilize Revit BIM software and produce 3D images very early in the process. With all of our consultants using it as well we can identify conflicts during design which prevents costly change orders during construction.

Clarity

We are known for providing expertly detailed drawings with all pertinent information included. This helps keep a tight bid, and reduces RFIs and changes during construction.

Continuity of Service

Our design team is also the construction administration team. Therefore, we maintain the knowledge base ensuring that the design intent is not compromised when unforeseen conditions are found.
